Referral!

We got our referral today - a darling two month old baby boy!

We'll call him Baby Z for now, and we can't share pictures online yet, until he's legally ours. Suffice it to say we can't wait to kiss those chubby cheeks! He is very healthy and a happy baby, according to the caretakers.

I got the call just as I was getting ready to take Aidan to preschool. Of course, it happened to be his day for snack and show-and-tell so I ended up running up to check the computer a million times for the email with pictures, while I cut up apples and found Playmobil pieces that he wanted to take. The great thing was that the pictures came through just in time for me to print one so Aidan could show it for show-and-tell!

We're being careful with pictures and are happy to show people in person, but we aren't really sending them out until we pass court, just to be safe. We are thrilled and so excited for these next few months - pray that we get a court date soon! Once we can pass court we will be able to travel. Realistically speaking, we wouldn't travel until May or June because of how long it takes to get a court date and there is always the possibility that it will take a couple of times to pass . . . but we won't think that way!!!
